Overnight oatmeal couldn’t be easier to prepare and is very satisfying. It’s the only kind of breakfast that keeps me going until lunch, definitely because of the protein in the Greek yogurt. This is my version of bircher’s shmaltz and a breakfast staple, especially when topped with lots of nuts, maple syrup and berries!
All you have to do is mix your oats and milk in a bowl the night before. The next morning, stir in your yogurt and add your toppings! Done.
Lately, I’ve been preferring full-fat Greek yogurt because it’s so smooth, not to mention much less processed than fat-free or low-fat yogurt. We really love Strauss! Hands down, this is the fluffiest organic yogurt I’ve found.
It’s so good! If you’ve never had overnight oatmeal before, give it a try!!!! I eat it at least twice a week and it’s my favorite quick healthy breakfast.
